Pop-punk outfit FREAK CIRCUS
broke onto the Dorset live circuit in April
2000, quickly establishing a fervent following
on the back of high energy performances. Their
'Custardy Battle' CD soon followed, described
by the local press as "robustly melodic originals

Peace Sweet
|
www.freepeacesweet.com
In the beginning God
created the Heaven and the Earth. Music was
without form, and Void; Radios were in darkness
only playing the likes of Westlife and Britney.
The spirit of God moved upon the face of music.
and God said; Let there be a band who will rule
over all radio stations, he called this band
"free peace sweet"! |
Freewheeler
|
http://dreamwater.org/music/freewheeler
Freewheeler are a London based
band playing a fine blend of original high energy
Rock 'n' Roll to take beyond the 21st Century.
Fronted by the highly enigmatic vocalist, Seb,
with Oktem on guitar duties, Sophie on the driving
bass and one Russell Gilbrook keeping it together
on the drums, they are gaining a reputation
of being a highly capable band to take on the
big guns. With a few gigs under their belt and
a CD which has been pushed onto record label
A+R, they have now secured major label interest
within a few short months of their forming.

Fume
|
www.fume.groupies.co.uk
Fume combine elements
from diverse genres with an understanding of
the chaotic, the bizarre and the comic. This
has manifested itself in varied, original songs
which serve to push Fume above the mundane,
touching the world inhabited by the peerless
such as Pink Floyd and Mr Bungle. Other influences
cited are Radiohead, System Of A Down and the
Smashing Pumpkins. Fume are rapidly attracting
a following in their local Reading area due
to the entertainment factor provided by the
amusingly hyperactive 'Ever-Ready' Eddie with
his catchy yet schizophrenic tunes and professional
musical ability. |
