Bands - B
Bag One

http://www.bag-one.co.uk
Bag One are a 7 piece band from Cambridge whose original sound can only be described as funky rock. The band was formed back in the winter of 2000 and made their live debut in London in March 2001. Since then there has been a snowball effect with their gigs getting better and their loyal fan-base getting steadily stronger.

Barker

www.barkerontheweb.com
barker sprang into life at a small Cardiff rehearsal studio in 1997, drawn together by their mutual attractions to the wonderful decade that is the 80's and dreams of becoming pop stars. Luke Giles (21, vocals/guitar), Marc Heatley (23, bass) and Jon Davies (27, lead guitar) are the founder members, Richard Hopkin (21, synths & trumpet) was brought in for recording and never left and last but by no means least Marco Fantini (27, drums) is the newest addition to the barker line up.

The Bastard Son Of Tommy Cooper members.tripod.com/sebastianvittorini
the most stunningly anarchic act. Naked but for boxer shorts and a fez, this scrawny, scuttling Welshman is a masochistic magician. "Aren't we having fun!" he yells, staring like a psychotic elf before sliding two swords down his throat. This is frightful, but fantastic. What's most riveting is the audience reaction. The whole room was writhing and groaning, yet huge snorts of laughter kept bursting out all around." - Daily Telegraph

Boogaloo Mouse

www.boogaloomouse.com
It all began ages ago (December 2001) at an absolutely freezing scout hall in a village called Llangyfelach. We formed as a result of many failed attempts with various other bands, some tidy, others absolute W@*kers. There are so many people who think they are Liam Gallagher and it doesn't work! But as a result of that and the fact we all like the music we play and write, Boogaloo Mouse was formed.

Box of Stuff

www.cdbaby.com/boxofstuff
BOX OF STUFF doesn't fit nicely into the conventional genres. They writes songs that mean something to them and whether it's a voodoo lounge punk song like "Melrose" or a stadium rocker like "Finally Hit the Top" the band stays true to their vision, where ever it takes them.

Broom Filler

http://www.broomfiller.com
BROOMFILLER is not just a band. A 3 piece punk-based heavy melodic alternative band. A band with a psychedelic mix of heavy guitars, light clean tone melodies mixed in with melodic vocals, soothing bass lines, and rhythmic drumming. A blend of music, style and performance which enables them to truly stand out.

Burly

"Cross pollinating whispered, plaintive vocals with bludgeoning hip-hop loops and inspired samples, this is one of the most original and promising bands ever to have come out of Wales…" Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales), Daily Post, May 2000

Bush Baby

http://www.bushbabyweb.com
Hailing from Bristol, UK, bushbaby have a sound that has been described as "dark, punchy Britrock; full of melodic, shimmering hooks." Mixing elements of grunge, metal and fizzy punk-pop, bushbaby have developed their own unique sound … with hints of the likes of Feeder, Bush, Creed and Terrorvision. Have a listen to some song samples here.
